So.... Bra's! What's the point again?

So with the exception of those that might just seasonally use a bra on their car... what's the point? Can someone explain it to me. I get it if you live in Canada and have to deal with a ton of salt/ice/snow during the winter seasons(or the northeast US for that matter) but still...

Oh and speaking of bra's. Are there any women at all in our forums? Just curiosity speaking out

Yea, but here's the thing... I get that you don't want to have rock chips. However and try to stick with me here. What is the point of covering up something to protect it, when you're not going to see it anyway... So, you put a bra on your car, YOU get the hideous look of the bra, but you're excited that you've got no scratches on your paint even though you don't get to look at it!? What, is that so the next bloke can enjoy your scratch free paint job if/when you sell it?

what r u talking about?!?! u cant even see the clear bra unless your looking for it. And what do u mean you don't look at your car? maybe u just don't like your car as much as the rest of us...I check out/admire my car everytime i walk up to you.

I hate the ugly look of rock chips on my front bumper. The clear bra makes it look brand new. You do know that you only put a clear bra on after a fresh paint job right? Not after you already have rock chips...

2nd that! A clear bra was the 1st thing I did, it was 300 dollars and is removable, vs a grand to repaint the front and hope it matches. If you spend much time on the interstate, especially going through different states, the front of your car will get tore up as lots of state's interstate deteriorate faster than they repair them.

i haven't seen a car with one of those ugly black vinyl bra's in years. clear bra's are the way to go. prevents rock chips but is barely noticeable.

there are a ton of women on AZ, but very few females.

yea just noticed it was black bras he was talking about...those things r so ugly and ancient that i completely forget about them. Clear bra is the way to go.

I paid 2k for the front half of my car. Whole hood, side fenders, lights and bumper, all custom cut. best of all my insurance covers it if it damaged.

i have no problem with chips on my s4, but if i lowered it i'd expect it would be smart to clear bra it.

clear bras really are great protection / you cant see it except for hte line where it ends

Yea, mine was $320 for mine custom cut. I can't remember the make, but it's not 3M. It covers the first quarter of my hood, my front bumper and my side mirrors.

Why pay 2k for that much clear bra? Hell you'd be better off letting your car get paint chips and repainting the car for $5k..
