New here.. 07 Sprint blue...2.0... weeee!

Hey everyone, after cruising the forums I have finally got time to take some pictures of my newly acquired 2007 Audi A4. Coming from an 06 Subaru Sti this is a nice change as far as luxury goes. So far I am loving the car, I am however experiencing a few of the notorious problems related to our cars.... Oil blow by.. pcv issue, shaky passenger headlight... but overall I am pleased. And besides the car is under full warranty untill 80,000kms.

I guess the previous owners custom ordered this A4 in the S4 Sprint blue, they put every single package available to the car including heated rear seats.... hehe.

Anyway, I have some plans for the car, drop, wheels, revo, exhaust. But Im going to start off with a tint job... any suggestions for the %? I have looked around but still undecided. I know I will be going with the 35% on the front roll downs, just not sure how dark to go on the back 5 windows.

I can tell you a few mods that could look great (beside drop and wheels):
Blackout headlights, clear corner, blackout grill, and get rid of the chrome around the windows. Chrome is the first enemy of sport cars.

Very nice, loved the color too. I think those five spoke rims area nice too, almost got those, but then, I found a car with titanium pkg and changed my mind right there :-)

a nice easy mod is to hardwire the passport radar detector, buy the cord of ebay and it takes under 10 mins, cleans up the dash a lot.

So Tint or no tint?, I was thinkin 10-20% on the back 5 and 35% on the front roll downs. As far as hard wiring the radar, yeah I have to get that done soon.

10-20% is really dark. The black interior makes the tint look darker. I'd stick with 35%.

nice looking car! I would only go 35%-20% on the windows because I have always though that when people go light on the front and dark on the back it looks bad, so keep it close to even. And i had no idea A4's could even be ordered with rear heated seats! I guess you learn something new everyday haha

IIRC it came with a certain package (technology?) on the 05.5s and then it was discontinued. Perhaps since the PO ordered it special, he was able to have them included.

My car has them and they get quite a bit of use when I have passengers back there.

Custom color is a special order paint (usually like $2000)

The Cold Weather Package came with the rear heated seats and for the 2.0T it was only offered in 2005.5 and 2006 (as i have it too).

How long does it take when ordering custom paint? i had been thinking of getting the new TT, and might get it in solar orange or sprint blue now... i never realized that this was even posible

You're lucky to have such a rare car. I say keep the tint the same % all the way around whatever % you decide on. I hate how it looks when there is a difference front to rear.

Pretty easy to adjust? I would go outside now but its too dark. Is the adjusting nut between the headlight and the grill? Your probably always looking at that gap now after your ordeal hahaha

Ya its pretty easy the nut can be accessed through holes next to the top bumper torx screws. I'm not sure if you need the side screws to be removed to properly adjust, but I did anyways.

Btw my passenger side gap is larger too, not sure why it is though.

Yeah get a daytime pic of the 20%, I'm getting darker tint done soon of either 15 or 20.
