Re: Finally another option for exhaust for our cars

This had been posted briefly on this forum (but VAST doesn't pay to be AZ advertiser, so it came down). Lord knows I'm pleased to see some aftermarket options for A6!

It looks like it might be pretty loud, though. I had spoken to Prince a while ago about serving as guinea pig but then I found used Millteks which I assume to be quieter.

Want some gutted OEM downpipes to go with it?

Hopefully they are not loud. It's less money, then what's out there for the A6 so I want to try it out. I just have to wait another month until the holidays.

What you guys need is an A6 version of the SS AutoChrome exhaust/downpipes.

Very true, Grah4m -- only have APR and Milltek now (and SSA also looks quieter than VAST approach, also avoids x-pipe flow interference; apparently good quality and fit-up)

Re: Finally another option for exhaust for our cars

    what do those X=pipes do?

Do they really make a difference in the sound? I have just straight through 2 dual exhausts but with no X pipe.. Would X pipe make it sound meaner?
