Hey guys I've got an 2004 a6 2.7t and the aux water pump is leaking and the dealer wants $750 to replace it...seemed pretty high so I'm having a local shop do it for me along with a REVO chip and plugs/DVs. Do you know what the book time and a decent price is for this aux water pump job??? Thanks.

    Re: getting work done

Definitely high! go to an Indy shop with lower hourly rate and also more reasonable time for the job.
Part is 115 to 140 $. Labor should be 4 hrs

I paid 115 for the part on line, shop charged I thinki 3.5 to 4hrs labor. so 440-450 all in.
Since they ahve to remove the intake I also took advantage of it to put in the NewSouth Powergaskets... they are obnly 75$ and no extra labor.

By the way, Audi sells a relocation kit that make it more reliable and easeir to access for future repair I think. DAFT has the part #.
    Yuo should look into it.

    Re: getting work done

I'm not really worried about the relocation kit but which gaskets should I get and from who? My guy is gonna do the work this weekend so I'd like to grab those asap.
