Finally, my ebay ecodes are here. Now i know that there are a lot of you that either don't like them because they aren't the real deal or just don't like them in general. But, on the other hand i know that there are a lot of you who are very interested in these and may have some questions about them. Anyways, i will be installing them on my car this weekend so if you have any questions about the install that you want answers for let me know. Or if you are a picture person(like me) and want to see specific pics of them let me know. i may actually do a video of the install/results and post it up on Youtube.

Oh, on a side note. DHL can eat a #$*&%! They have terrible customer service and their voice command phone system needs to be scrapped!! Has anyone else had any problems with them?

The only issue I have with them are the black ones are not xenon projectors, correct me if I am wrong. I wouldn't knock you for them, real e-codes are getting harder and harder to find.

Would like to see them on, how much space is under the housing for mounting Ballast's? Does it look like the standard OEM size?

The OEM HID kit fits.......I have them and the OEM Valeo ballasts and bulbs in them........Wow! you paid $240.00 shipped......you got jipped........I paid $199.00 in total shipped!

i got the same ones month ago, the projector and highbeam on the passenger side were borken so i had to glue em >.< and there is a little blemish on the inside of the lens where the projector meets with the lens, also when u put ur blinker in watch out bcuz the metal pieces come loose and u have to fix it

Yes, the H7 fit. I really like how they have the blinkers set up. The bulbs that you need to use for the ecodes only blink. So usually with your OEM headlights when you turn your parking lights on the amber bulbs light up. But, with these only the city lights come on which i'll be using LEDs. Anyway Here you go....these guys are great sellers.

There is a space for them. I haven't been able to compare them upclose yet but from memory, they look pretty damn close in comparison.

you can get new d2s bulbs, ignitors and adapters and use your stock ballasts and they should work. thats what HIDCONCEPTS told me. they quoted me i think $140 or something for everything ill need. i was thinking of trying to take my stock HID projectors out of my stock lights and installing them in these. i just dont have the money to get them right now lol

Regarding the whole DHL fiasco. So i've been tracking these things since they were shipped and on monday morning i see the message at 9:30 AM "With Delivery Courier". So I'm thinking that they'll be at my house when i get home from work. All day I'm checking to see that it's delivered but, nothing changes. i get home at 4:30 and still nothing. I end up waiting till 6:00 to call DHL. So i call and they have this peice of $%&*! voice command phone system that apparently picks up any background noize thinking that your speaking into the phone which F's up the whole sytem so now you have to hang up and call again. You literally have to sit in your car while its in your garage with the doors shut to be able to use their phone system. Even then God forbid you fart while you're on the phone!! Anyway so i finally get to service rep and give her my tracking #. Here's how the conversation went.

Rep: "Ok so we have a guarantee delivery by 5:00 PM today on your package and it's not there yet, right?"

Me: "Right"

Rep:" Well they do deliver up to 7:00PM....so you still have time"

Me (While i'm staring at the clock): "Ok well it's 6:30, you're telling me that the delivery person has had the package to deliver since 9:30 this morning which by the way is 9 hours ago and you honestly think that it still has a chance to be here within the next half hour when it is guaranteed to be here by 5?

Rep: "Ok well let me call the courier and see what the status is"

Next thing i know, she hangs up on me. At this point I am out of my mind. I have to hang up and have to call back and deal with the F'ing phone system again. If thats not bad enough, i finally get transfered to a phone rep. Whoever it was literally picks up the phone and then hangs it up again!!!!! I've worked in the customer service field and that is called "Call Avoidence". So I call again and guess what? F'ing same thing. I call a third time and no BS.....I'm honestly screaming into the phone through the voice recognition and you know what? It actually works when you scream(Even when you're adding the F word)!!! It's unbeleivable. Anyway, a lady finally answers and I absolutely give her hell. I kinda felt bad after. Anyway, at that point I knew that the package wasn't coming that night....I just needed to tell them how much they suck. So, she ends up taking my # and says that a problem resolution person would call me back. I finally get a call at 8:00 from somone saying that the package is back at the facility and it is high priority for the next day delivery.

No lie, i got the package at 4:45PM the next day!!!!

No shipping company is perfect in terms of package movement, but the correct customer service can alleviate many issues. The problem with DHL (and sometimes Fedex) is that they farm out the delivery to local trucking companies. Some of them are mom/pops type of operations driving a truck/van that is painted yellow with the DHL logo on it. This is perfectly fine, but when you have hundreds/thousands of them, its hard for the central office to control IMO.

We had a situation where wheels/tires were sent to a customer, and the local delivery company refused to deliver due to the package being too big. So the customer had to wait an extra 2 weeks because the package had to come back and go right out with a different carrier.

The last straw with DHL was when I had about $5k of incorrect service charges being applied to the shipments. I short-payed the invoice, and pretty soon I had lawyers knocking at my door with colorful threats if I didn't pay.

DHL is a great company in Europe and Asia, but their US business is pretty poorly put together.... I heard its because of all these regulations put on foreign transportation companies operating on US soil.
