Ahahahahahahahha, is that guy who painted his rims retarded? he just painted the tires to. hope he likes the grey rubbers. Thats jsut lazy as hell

I think the tires are going to be replaced after painting, as read in the DIY post, he does suggest taping them off if you want to keep the tires, but he's not.

I've painted a few sets in the past, Bruno currently is using an OEM S4 setup for winter that I painted last fall, going through the right steps and using the right stuff they hold up quite well.

give the guys at NuBrite a call. They refinished a couple sets of my wheels and they do great work.

theres panther wheels too, they straightened a wheel for me a few years ago for $60, but they gave me shop rate because i was working at a ford dealer they do alot of business with. the guys were all pretty good to deal with though.

I'd recommend a shop do it if you want a nice long lasting OEM quality paint job as the paint and process they go through is way better than a spray can, but if your wheels are in rough shape, its hard to make it look worse with a spray can. just make sure you clean and sand/scuff them properly or it will just flake off within a matter of weeks.

Prep. is the key. If you decide to do it yourself, take your time and do it right. If you rush this type of job you will not be happy with the results in the long run.
