i never understood why people would by an eliminator, manifold, and test pipe, thats everything the full kit would replace anyway, with better fitment and parts

if you buy a full atp kit, definitely not better fitment and not better parts. their t3 manifolds are good though. Just get a custom down pipe made. you would be surprised that they would probably end up slightly cheaper then an atp pipe.

LOL, I am going to guess you have never owned a ATP full kit. People also buy the Elim because they can make the engine bay look 100% stock which is something you could never do with the full kits. The main down side of the elim has been the fact that the high flow manifold cracks.

    Re: another cracked manifold

I'm going to assume these are cast manifolds... I have a tubular one that was made by some local guys handy with a MIG welder... Or is it TIG, i forget. About 3 times the price of a cast one, but definately worth it.

Either way, EGT's are down, their cat delete racepipe works pretty well too. Spoolup is much earlier, and it now holds the boost more reliably.

i'm still going strong on my atp high flow elim manifold. i made a stout welded bracket that attaches to the head. maybe later i can 3 point or whatever if i have the time to weld up some more support braces. i'll try to take pix when i have time.

I'd pressume the same place as the 034 just as AudiS4racers just did, considering the ATP and 034 cast piece is the same.

i personally never experienced with welding cast iron. but i heard that its possible to repair it with Certanium 889. bring the manifold to local metal/iron shop. they might be able to do it for few bucks, i think its worth a shot.

Even if you drill out the end of the cracks before welding there is still a big chance that it will crack again. Plus welding cast just never seems to last very long.

i don't have enough time to weed through all of that.

but on the first page i didn't see anything.

there is a difference between backing out bolts and a crack in the manifold

Thats odd. First couple that came up for me were of a guy on Elitedubs and Vortex. One running a T3/T04 on a ATP log and the other a full GT28rs on the same manifold.
