    16" Wheels for 2005 A6

I've got a 2005 A6 with 17" wheels. A friend who used to have an Audi gave me a set of 16" winter tires that I would like to put on my car. I was wondering if there was any issue going with 16" wheels on this car. I also wanted to confirm the bolt pattern that will fit my vehicle. I think that it is 5x112 but I can't seem to find it in my User Guide. Any advice would be appreciated.

ET should be around 38mm or more to work. 5x112 is correct. Run a 225/55R16.
