so I did a basic detail today (wash, clay, wax) and am pretty happpy with the results. However, I noticed there are a few spots where sap has dropped and dried on my car. I am not sure where it came from, but either way, I was curious if there is any easy way to get rid of it..

    thanks in advance

    Re: sap

If it is not coming off re-claying it or another wash (I will assume that is has not since it is now dried) your best bet is to use a 50/50 mix of rubbing alcohol and water and slowly work out the sap with a microfiber towel. That should take it off, and if it is still stuck on then go ahead and use rubbing alcohol only, but be aware that this will strip any paint sealant (wax or otherwise) so be sure to seal that part of the paint again after you are done.

thanks evolution you are a god right now ha. Someone told me rubbing alcohol, but i was weary for safety of my paint, I will definitely try to do a half half mix. So just mix it up, get a little onto a microfiber towel and work it out?

    Re: sap

Yes sir, just make sure you seal that spot again with wax because it will strip any protection that was on there before, if you have not done so it would be a good time to do a 5 step cleaning process on your paint.
