so my car is effed up for good

i posted a thread couple days ago about a problem i got on the highway, because i floored it for a couple seconds and the 2nd time i did it it started to stutter a little bit. So i thought it was the coilpack so i replaced 2 of them, but it didnt solve the problem, this morning when my mechanic drove it a buzzing sound came on and it gets louder as you accelerate. After looking at the car for the whole day, my mechanic thinks there is a problem in the tranny, he says there is some pump that could be damaged or soemthing so he told me to take it to a guy that does strictly transmissions. So i feel like cryin now,
if anything like this has happened to you guys feel free to help out, i really dont know what to do

Where is the noise coming from? If from the rear, might be a bad fuel filter/pump.

its not i replaced the fuel filter and the pump. The car stutters when the car shifts to low rpms, so when you try to accelerate after it stutters till it gets to higher rpms and then its ok, so i thought it was the coilpack but its not.

Well, I don't know if that means your car is effed up for good. Do you have a tip, if so, I'm sure it could be rebuilt, which would be about the same cost of getting a clutch put in at he dealer. $1000-1500. It's not chump change, but it's not the end of the world for your car. Of course your in Toronto, so you could take a trip to Detroit and...............nevermind.

sounds like my car 2yrs exactly..same exact symptoms -turned out to be the sludge issue and blown turbo.. bad news all around. and i just hit 60k miles

so did you fix it and how much did it cost?
i think that my turbo is still workin though, however my mechanic said that there is some oil buildup at some gasket behind the engine or something

yeah i fixed it, close to $3k to fix it and alot of yelling and screaming at the dealer

my mechanic scanned it, but it didnt show any codes,
you think it could be the Mass air flow
