My hood wont open! HELP!!

It is a 2005 A8 L the drivers side will release, but the passenger side wont release. It doesnt even make a noise when i pull the lever. Does anyone know how to get in there and release the catch?

i know this sounds funny, but take the side of your hand and give it a little bump, dont pull, maybe even have someone hold the lever back to pop hood and make a fist and give the side of the hood that won't open a good but not too hard jolt, should pop loose, unless more serious problem, but that u8sually works. i used to work for audi and saw that a few times. good luck

On my URS6 I had to get a broom handle and fish it up from the bottom to manually push the latch. If you get a flashlight and jack up the car you should be able to see where the latch is. Might work for an A8?
