Rear fog lights

I noticed that my both my tail lights have the socket for rear fog lights.
My question is, if I put bulbs in both of them, will I be able to run rear fog lights on both sides?

I've tried it and it did not work. Just the left side will.

there is a way to make them both work. I saw a DIY one on how to make them both work but I dont have the link anymore. Try searching it on yahoo or google because i dont think there is one here on AZ.

its on a4mods i believe, you have to solder to make the connection.

What would be the point of having them both on anyways? I got pulled over once, cop claimed I had a tail light out.. This was before I realized the one bulb wasn't really burnt out, it's how it comes stock .

Correct me if I'm wrong but they come available for BOTH to work in Europe but only ONE is legal in the U.S. so that's why ours only allows ONE (left)... I think that's what I read a while back
