vag comlog and codes... im stumped

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
heres the story, was getting misfires at idle...found vac leak...fixed the misfires at idle

now up top in the rpm range i get bad fluttering and codes come up as such
(sometimes different cylinders come up misfiring)
    but here is one log

    Address 01: Engine
    Control Module Part Number: 8D0 907 557 N
    Component and/or Version: 1.8L R4/5VT MOTR HS D05
    Software Coding: 06201
    Work Shop Code: WSC 06335
    5 Faults Found:

    16684 - Random/Multiple Cylinder Misfire Detected
    P0300 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent
    16688 - Cylinder 4: Misfire Detected
    P0304 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent
18014 - Rough Road/Engine Torque Signal from ABS: Electrical Malfunction
    P1606 - 35-00 - -
    16684 - Random/Multiple Cylinder Misfire Detected
    P0300 - 35-00 - -
    16688 - Cylinder 4: Misfire Detected
    P0304 - 35-00 - -

so im thinking if a vac leak caused it to misfire at idle, would a boost leak cause it misfire up higher in the rpm range? it seems to only flutter under boost conditions.

motor is brand new (rebuilt) with 155 comp +/- 5% across all 4 cylinders

let me know what you guys think.

also the motor has new coilpacks, ICM, CTS, MAF, plugs are gapped right, Cam Position sensor, newer used turbo (minimal shaft play)

Re: vag comlog and codes... im stumped

well how come i get, misfires in other cylinders on different logs, i have tried the replacement of coilpacks and switching them from cylinder to cylinder, sometimes ill log misfires in 1 or 2 or 1 and 2 or 3 or 3 and 2 or on this particular log it was 4 coming up yet there was still random multiple misfires meaning other cylinders were misfiring...
