Blew the turbo on my 1.8 and went out and bought an apr stage 3+ turbo kit.
I was wondering would they be anything else besides exhaust, intercooler, intake and clutch that ill be needing for this setup? If so which parts do u recommend.

Re: Advice on my turbo setup

pick up a awe stg 3 clutch and flywheel kit, a borla exhaust and either an ebay fmic or a precision core and make your own piping- the exhaust mite be a tad on the small side but ive never had a cop say its loud, even after getting a ticket for having my exhaust cut our open i went to a police station and the cop told me the borla was quiet and waved the ticket

Re: Advice on my turbo setup

If you are using a stock bumper a racetec fmic will work, but if you plan on running a larger front bumper the ER Comp is the best choice and can be ordered in black for no extra charge.

For the apr stage 3+ you will want either a Southbend stage 4 or stage 5, the stage 3 might not be enough.

For exhaust I would say Milltek if you want something that is not loud.

Our Stage 3 Clutch Kit will be able to handle the power.

If you want a higher stage Southbend Clutch, just let me know. We can get whatever you need.

standard southbend Stage 3 is only rated for 300 tq. That is under the rating of what a gt28rs can make at the crank.

I've verified all of our torque ratings with Southbend Directly. The Stage 3 Southbend Clutch, Part Number K70205OFE, is rated to 335 lb ft.

    300 AWD

So we are both right but for 2 different driveline setups.
