Looking into getting suspension for my B6. Opinions and feedback wanted.

H&R coilovers: Pros: Reasonable price, drop like a rock, pretty good ride. Cons: I'm happy with them, can't think of any cons.. Oh I guess they don't say StaSiS on them, that is about it for me.

stasis uses the koni kit, not HR ;)

H&R tend to get loose after a few thousand miles. If you can afford it, go with the STaSIS Ohlin SLs...by far the best on the market for everyday drivers! Pros: Stiffer ride without the huge decrease in everyday ride quality, amazing balance at the corners, great hold through curves...etc etc etc

Cons: You'll spend a lot more on gas due to increased driving time

I have Stasis Trackports, ride is not as good as stock at 25.5 fender to ground. Great on smooth roads and turns, jarring on tougher roads.

Next time I would get a set that the rears can be adjusted without removing the subframe.

Do you want to track it every weekend?
Do you want to track it once in a while?
Do you want to just dump it and go low?

Its not a big deal if you set it and forget it. But it was a huge PITA just trying to get them where I wanted.

stasis has 4 ssuspensions avail (1 is not in production anymore)....streetsport, tracksport, SL, motorsports. they all are different

You can adjust them anyway you want.

You can also go the spring/shock route if you don't want to spend the extra money on coilovers. Springs are limited to H&R and Vogtlands. Shocks are only Koni's. You can also upgrade your sway bars with either H&R or Hotchkis (H-sports). I believe Neuspeed has sway bars too.

^^vogts are a slightly lower drop. you can do stock shocks, but him^ and i are both running koni yellows with h&r springs.

Not sure about the Vogtlands, but the H&R drop is perfect, for me at least. It is not too low that I have to worry about clearance in the winter and yet there is almost no gap. As far as shocks, the ride with stock shocks will be slightly harsher and a little bouncy. Obviously, if the stock shock is relatively new with low mile, it will handle the lower height better than a shock with say 40k+ miles. The shocks will also blow sooner so you will end up having to replace them earlier. Might as well spend the cash and get the shocks installed at the same time so you won't have to install twice (same procedure for installing springs).

Stasis Motorsports here with no issues at all. The best suspension I have ever owned (I have previously owned Bilstein, Koni, KW, Neuspeed, Ground Control, and Hypercoil)

The rear is a bit low, even raised all the way, but I have no rubbing or scraping issues.

IMO, its worth considering Startup Racing GT coils assuming you aren't a track rat and have a budget ...

Had a quote for $200 - so I think you can get less. Depends on where you buy it. Some performance shops will help you out if you order through them - that is if they're an authorized retailer.
