Stock S4 acceleration problems....

My question is this......Does anyone else have a problem with hard accelerations from a stop in which the cars ESC light flashes and it feels like forever for the car to actually move forward. I have tried different approches to accelerating and call it user error, but I am unable to just hit the gas hard from a red light without the car bogging down. Audi service says that this is normal, and under heavy loads the ESC cuts power to the engine. Any thoughts?

try turning off your traction control (ESC). your problem will cease

Totally normal this happens to me even when I don't really stab the throttle too hard. Turn off the track control

Your tires should not be slipping that much. Are you dropping the clutch at 4-5000rpm?

Yeah, traction control will make the car bog by cutting the throttle to reduce slip. And it the 'ESP' button. ECS is on the top left of your keyboard :D

If the problems continue then you are looking at spark plug or coilpack issues.

Exactly. I never get any traction issues, not even on wet roads.
And I hope this whole topic was a joke.

I've only had that problem on wet roads. Check your tires unless you have a supercharger installed that you don't know about!

Thanks...i realized after I had posted that it is ESP. I will have to try and launch with it off. Haven't tried that yet. Thanks for the advice.
