Ballast Removal ?

Trying to remove the 5G ballasts from OEM Xenon Housings. Is there a special tool to unscrew the ballasts? It looks like a special torx head that is hollow in the center. I need one ASAP! Where can i get one!?

Hahahaha dude I want my housings get these things out so you can ship them to me! OR you can just ship me the lights with these in them :)

dude pm me what you want with the OEM housings if for some reason you cant get them out and I will figure it out and re-sell them or hell I will pull them out and ship them right back to you to sell. I have RS4 xenons coming anyways and I need these chrome EBAY piece of craps off my car.

no, that is just a different set you can get. i would suggest you go to home depot or ace or something and get a hex set (for a reg drill), you will need it a lot on audi. if its not a t-20 then its a 15 or 10. i dont remember its been awhile since i removed a ballast.

I just removed the ballasts from the xenon housings last week.

Used a T-20 Torx bit.

Thanks for the replies guys. The T-20 i got doesn't have a hole for the stud in the middle of the screw but its all good im just going to send the ballasts with the housings.
