    What steps to take in order to push CVT

    What do I need to do in order to be able to push my CVT hard, and get in 250hp-275hp range
    2001.5 Audi S4 2.7T 6spd Santorin Avant
    Stage 2+

    ABT tuning, Milltek exhaust, SSAC downpipes, JHM short shifter, RS4 grill, All silicone hoses, Michelin Pilot Sport A/S Plus's, 034 street motor and snub mounts, Darintake, 12" Alpine Type R

    I have read a lot of threads, you can probably search and find out that you cannot really do much. They are pretty weak in the higher HP range not really sure but maybe look into swapping a TIP in if possible but that is too much $$$

    that shop is all for tiptronic work, i don't know if they do anything with the CVT. basically you can upgrade the engine all you want but anything more then stock is just a death wish for the tranny from what i hear, and they are expensive as hell to replace.

    Mine has held up just fine... they're stronger than people think

    I think the only other things you have left are going to be bigger injectors and a full exhaust.

    tell them to drain that crazy CVT fluid and fill the tranny with concrete. it won't slip when you get into the higher power levels.

    really though, i don't there's much you can do with those trannys...
