The Beckers are back as Jason and Billy take a drive to pick up the Thanksgiving turkey. Check out episode 2 in the series following the life of America's most dysfunctional family during the holidays.

No it's not.

I don't like how much hating goes on between car makes and their owners. I have both BMW and Audi. I've been a BMW owner since 2002 but an enthusiast [around them] since 1995 and all of the enthusiasts (like us) are NOT douchebags for the most part. I've met a few, but they're rare. Can't speak for the owners going for status..but you can't say that those same people don't exist within Audi either.

Can't we all just get along.

There will always be douschebags in both camps, but the stereotypes are there for a reason. I have met and interacted with really cool Bimmerheads and MB guys, but the Internet is a wonderful place for the tools to gather and bash other makes because they have no appreciation for cars and care more about the "status" gained by their intro level luxury car than the enthusiasm about talking shop.

I just don't like being lumped into that stereotype. It's often I meet people who are non-car people and know that I drive an M3 and go .."Wow, you're not a tool at all like I thought you'd be."

"Why's that?", I counter.

"Well you drive a BMW, don't you?"

I appreciate anything coming out of Germany, to be honest. Compare any german car to an american car and you can see why.
