Looking to paint my grill black. I looked on a4mods.com but the paint/rubberstuff it says to use ... i can't find it anywhere.

What other products do you guys recommend to paint the grill black?

home depot/lowes usually has it. You can always use normal outdoor spray paint that is adhesive towards plastic, that way it would just be permanent. If you do that, I would be sure to use a clear coat.

    Re: blackout grill

I went with black outdoor paint at first. I was repainting almost every other week because of the rock chips. I'm kinda picky though.
I switched over to plasti-dip and haven't repainted in almost 1000 miles!
I tried to find it at Lowes, but only Home Depot had it. It's in there with the spray paint. If you really can't find it, then you may just want to buy a blacked out grill if you're really picky.

    Re: blackout grill

I found plasti-dip at harbor freight, ace, lowes, and home depot but only home depot had it in spray form.

definitely going to have to do this as well!

Plasti-Dip... can't find it on Home Depot's or Lowe's website. I'll have to go there and see if they actually have it!!

    Re: blackout grill

If you go to Home Depot or Lowes go to the Aerosol paint isle and get All Surface Rust-Oleum and then get Aerosol Clear Coat, it prevents rock chipping. All said and done might cost you $15 bucks
