I also want to get some S4 door blades and either kerscher or caractere sides. I can't decide on what rear though. I really like the look of the reiger, but then i also am thinking about an S4 rear. But the S4 rear slants up so much it doesn't even hardly look aftermarket, especially with all the other aftermarket parts.

IDK about better than stock, but a USP is definitely your best bet.

I'm excited to start modding. I already picked up some black plastidip to blackout the grill, and i'm trying to find some tint spray like what aleksey did so i can make my tails darker. And while i'm at the tails i think i'm probably gonna clear the amber bulb for the blinker as well. The rear badge removal (except for the rings) is already done. But the guy put on an S badge on (minus the 4), any opinions on whether or not i should keep that on? I was thinking since the car isn't an S4 that it's kind of weird having that on there, it might also bring unwanted race challenges as well lol. Or i was thinking since it doesn't look too bad on there i could keep it there and tough it out until i go BT. But either way i've begun the free/very cheap mods while i'm waiting for my bank account to start growing so i can get into the more serious and expensive stuff.

Otherwise i've only started on maintenance though. Oil flush and additive, coolant flush, brake fluid flush, and i went through and detailed the car to find anything else i need to look at and change.

yeah but i only have $17 lol. I paid for my car up front in cash so i kinda only left myself with enough to pay for maintenance and gas fees

same here. Not sure what all the hate on the bumper is for. It's not terrible, and i think it is a step up from stock at least. looks more aggressive for sure.

i wouldnt say it looks terrible, i think it'll do for now, but i would def change it haha...its not tht its ugly, it just looks weird, and it doesnt look like it should be on the car...but im in the same situation as you, not very much money left, and trying to keep up with everyone else on this websites modding...where the hell do some of you people get all this modding money from? is it because you make that much, or are you in terrible debt? im thinking debt haha

haha really...at 8.50 an hour, i cant be spending a couple hundred just whenever i feel like it !!!!!! i mean im only 16, and i did pay for my car, and i know i dont have the responsibility of having to take care of a wife, kids, housing, food etc., but still, i need to buy gas, and i take trips to ny and stuff like that which isnt too cheap either !! i have to work my ass off for the couple hundred dollars...! anyways, i plan on getting some gunmetal rs4 reps, an s4 body kit, and maybe a boser hood...at 8.50 an hour, this could take a couple months haha...=/

But i have a lot of hours and i get 9.25/hour now so i'm gonna have a little more extra cash than i had before. Just over $600 after taxes every 2 weeks with my schedule. So it should be easier than before, but then i gotta subtract phone service, gas, food, and insurance. So it's hard to mod.

Anyway, as everyone else has already said, the front bumper looks kinda wierd. Rieger tends to do that though. They are hit or miss, and they missed with that one, just like the new B6 bumper they have, which is just too busy. I will give you a little hint though. The Euro exchange rate is down a lot right now, to around $1.26 to the Euro. I just picked up the nice Rieger front bumper (needs a crack repaired and paint) for $150 shipped to me, and an ABT front brand new for about the same. Granted, I'm in England, so shipping isn't nearly as expensive as it would be to send it back to the US, but you can still find some deals. And if you find stuff like wheels or anything that size or smaller, you can have it shipped to me here and I'll send it through USPS Priority Mail via the post office on base. I know the chance of anyone taking me up on the offer is slim, but I have a bit more than four months left in Europe, so if I can help anyone else out with the modding bug, I'm all for it.

me too, I caddy during the summer and can make up to 600 a week but during the winter I make 8.50 an hour under the table. I'm only 16 and I make about 150 a week part time, while being in high school. I gave my mom quite a bit of money towards the car when we first payed for it but I still owe her around 5k so i'm not allowed to mod anything on my car .

I know a kid who does that during the summer too. He works at a really high end golf course in bellevue where it's like a country club as well and you have to have a really expensive membership to play and everything. So he makes a shit load off of that. And now he has the best job ever. He drives around in a golf cart all day long, finds golf balls, and makes more money than i do!

^^ haha yeah i know. I'm kind of undecided on what rear bumper to go with. I like the look of the S4 bumper but it kind of looks almost too stock, and from a rear view the mufflers show too much. I've always liked the reiger from a straight on rear view, but it can look a little busy or weird from some angles.

yeah I work at a very high end golf course in Greenwich (very affluent town). I make 140 bucks per loop plus tips, usually like 160. Do two loops a day i got 320 bucks a day, and I'm usually done at 3! it's ridiculously good money for me, a 16 year old.

hell yeah dude. I work at a soccer specialty store near my house so i'm working retail. I gotta put up with retarded customers all the time and it sucks. But i love my job anyway. It's the only job i've had since i was 16 where i actually want to go to work. I worked at a grocery store and DQ and i hated both of them. But i love soccer and i've played since i was 4 so i feel comfortable there and i know what i'm doing. It's pretty cool. I do wish i made more sometimes but it's alright, at least i like it.
