I have a bleed type mbc and seen some posts about completely disconnecting the N75 except for the the electric connection and other posts saying you have to use them together... Which is correct for my situation?

bleed type runs in conjunction with the n75. goes in the line going from n75>wg actuator.

I have a bleed valve hooked up with my N75 as well. (98.5 AEB) I also relocated the N75 and MBC up by the airbox for easy access.

Personally I tried using just the bleed valve and couldn't hit >13psi, and I'm chipped for 18psi. (use the search button).

EDIT: I'll save you the effort, here's a link http://www.audizine.com/forum/showthread.php?t=229946

In that case you wont have to run a hose to the TIP for the MBC no matter how you install it.

If you install it so you are no longer using the N75 at all, pull it out of the tip and block that hole in the tip. If you leave it in the tip make sure to loop a hose between the 2 other nipples on the n75 so that air doesn't get sucked thru the N75 and into the TIP.

well it was a goal...but the only close program dealer is giac and they do not offer a bt tune.. so i figure why spend $400-500 on a chip to just go BT soon after anyways...

this will be the smoothest way to go. a true mbc set up (ball/spring type) on a k03 is very on/off boost. at least inline with the n75 you get factory smooth boost curve coming on. just a higher peak because of the bleed off.

Yes, they do. Just not for any AEB cars. '01.5's they do.

My work is a retailer for GIAC, so I can't exactly say F- them, but Uni is the route I went. I would have gone that route even if I worked for the same company now as I did then.

FWIW, the only reason I run a MBC is b/c it helps me hold the boost longer and more consistently than with just the N75.
