I have a customer who's k04 blew, this might be a good option for him to rebuild with. He already has the hammer setup on his car.

^^^ exactly what I was thinking. Those k04s will out spool any eliminator.

and heat soak twice as bad.

Sounds tempting, BUT a 2871R straight from 034 is the same price.
You want power, skip the K04 and go for the gold. Trade in your pull-ups for some grown up undies and go nuts.

MAybe he already has grown up and got sick of it. Just as I. I enjoy very quick spool and gobs of tq while having the best handling. That's just me though.

GT2860RS is sweet in 3rd and up, 2871R is a little more laggy, but not that noticeable.

For a street car a GT28 series is sweet. 30xx series is "big" for the non-Japanese crowd, but still very streetable.

is it that damn hard to down shift? i don't get it? any car in 4th or 5th is gonna be slow down in the rpm range, if you have a k04 or not.

The highway is were it's at for me. I already have a heavy foot on the streets, so I want more power to fly on the freeway. But wow, 4 turbos, one per cylinder?! Now that sounds interesting.

as mentioned, an elim could be had for the same price, with minimal lag
