So I'm having some work done on my car and I got an A3 S-Line 2.0T as a loner car and I love it! I can understand why everyone in this section bought one, they really are great. I have one question though, besides the cigarette lighter in the trunk, is there one up front? I've searched all around and cant find one

Look under the armrest in the center console. There is a sliding door and one is under it.

as they said, its under the sliding door under the armrest. I find the angled 12v outlet keeps my adapter plugs from keeping the armrest from going back down fully, unlike the cigarette plug that ends up with very bent wires, which can break over time.

    Re: A3 loaner

I also got an A3 S-line loaner the other week. I thought the ride was great and it did have a lot of pick-up. Being that my A4 is a quattro, the A3 felt a lot lighter and more agile, but i was sliding around a lot due to the rain. I do agree with the OP, they are pretty cool little cars! I may consider getting one in the future.

    Thumbs up Re: A3 loaner

Haha, I also have an A3 S-line as a loaner for the last 4 days and love it as well. I was really surprised at how much power this car has... My wife loves it as well.

    Re: A3 loaner

The A3 has been my favorite Audi ever since it made its way across the pond. I work at a dealer that has 4 A3 loaners and I'm still trying to get the Service Manager to let me "borrow" one for a weekend if noone needs it.

We actually had one special ordered in that would be my perfect daily driver. A3, 2.0t, DSG, NO open sky. If only the sticker had my name on it.......

Glad to hear that others like these little cars as much as I do.

Audi tech since 2002, and still not a thief. Had to scratch the 'dealer' part as I will no longer be associated with any dealer for the first time in over a decade. That's right, I'm moving on to the independent side of things.

    Re: A3 loaner

I've had an a3 loaner a couple of times, but it just doesn't seem or feel as stable as my B5. Maybe it's the tires.
