fog light mod (help)

Is there a better DIY to do the foglight mod? I want to do it but i can't figure out the DIY they have listed.

Also how do you take off your side mirror covers.

when only the foglights are on without the headlights being on.

You have to use a vag com for that

It depends on the car whether you need vag-com. I didn't on mine. It was just pull out the light control, snip on wire, and tap it into another wire.

Wow I thought all the DRL fogs were VAG'd. I wonder if you can do that on a b6?

For Halogen setup, with no DRL's, is there a way to have fogs and city lights on ONLY (no tails or ambers) and use as DRL's as the "parking lights" setting on the light switch?

while in position "0" push the knob in, turn clockwise and gently pull it out. Don't quote me, it's been a while since I did it. Its either clockwise or CC.
