Does the sunroof have two separate motors?

I'm having some trouble with my sunroof. It will raise up or drop down, but it won't roll back. I don't hear any sounds of a motor trying to roll it back after it drops down. Is there two different motors or is it just a switch/actuator?

    Thanks!

I would guess the cable, but if you don't hear a motor, I would think there is an issue with the motor not turning on, But this also could just mean the motor is in a constant stall state.

In the summer I tried to put it back n it like clicks to go back then goes to the close positon. I think my rails maybe loose cause when I hit bumps sometimes I hear a rattle above me, guess when I do the headliner ill have to change the motor or fix the cable, how hard is it to fix the cable?

I have never done any work an any sunroofs ever, so I am not sure. Best bet is to take the head liner out. When do you plan on doing it?

Taking it out can be a PITA but...you can drive your car like there is nothing wrong, its only a headliner, not a seat.

You need to clean your contacts on the knob itself. Pull down the control and clean the contacts.
