So I finally did the seafoam treatment before my oil change over the weekend on my 3.0.
Did 1 full can to about 3/4 tank of gas and drove around for about 200 miles during the week, then did 1/2 in the crank case and 1/2 in the vacuum line as done in other threads.
I can't say that I can notice any difference in performance, but I did notice an immediate increase in fuel economy. I use to get around 300 mi to the tank, and this last one I got 330. Keep in mind that the seafoam is about 1/8of a gallon, so I would say an extra 20 miles to the tank or so which calculates to about 1 gallon every fillup=$3 per fillup=not bad in my book.
The dealer did their inspection for the 80K mile service as well as the full synthetic oil change. The only additional work that he recommended was an alignment. He did not mention that my Timing Belt should be changed at all and I didn't ask. I am still going to change my TB very soon, but I though it was funny that he didn't even mention it.
