damn, I was hoping the shaft snapped. Either way it sucks. I had the same thing that happened to you happen to my jeep a while ago. I still drove it for 2 weeks after, too. Then I took the axle shaft to the parts store (where I worked) and split open the boot, got the grease EVERYWHERE and threw the metal ball bearings (which were the size of marbles) at one of the kids that worked there. Left the grease EVERYWHERE, floor counters, bathroom door, door handle, sink and left in a hurry. Ah, good times.
