Stealership strikes again!!!!!

Hey there everyone, so I finally got my AZ account working so now I can have some other peoples opinions and help with what to do with my car.

So here my story begins...

I bought the car in January of 06 a used certified (so they say it was) 2005 audi a4 1.8t right away i wanted to do stuff to it but noticed it had steering problems, so i thought, get those things taken care of then mod the hell out of it.

Well the problems did not stop there so i decided to do an exhaust so i went with awe and some bilstein shocks and H&R springs and some HK sways thinking that might help the feel of the car, well of course it did i loved it but still had more problems than ever with coil-packs, steering, window regulaters, steering pumps (4 of them), etc. It sucks I have barley had this car for a year and it has been in the shop for most of the time, every week (no exaggerating) ill have another problem, until my check engine light went on about 7 months ago( so i called audi and made an appt. for that Saturday to take my car in. On the night of that friday my engine blew on the freeway goin about 70. So the next day had her towed to the Stealership. The problem was...... said the dealership they had no idea what it was. then about three weeks later they call me and said i had a hole in my engine and it was due to a chip. Now the only mods i have done where listed above exhaust and lowered, thats it so how could it be a chip? I asked and they sad they ran tests and thats what it was. No one at the dealership really likes me very much because Im there all the time. We ended up getting lawyers involved and they put a new engine in for 7,800.. they said everything was going to be fixed.. So I got the car back about a month ago and its already been in 2 times window reg, and steering... when i went to the dealership i took a ride with the tech who works on my car every time its there and he said "He knew the car was not chipped and audi did not even run the tests on my car." BTW this tech was not able to work on my car anymore because some guy that works at the wicked where I got my exhaust and suspension done started working for audi and said he saw me picking up my car from wicked and i got it chipped which was complete BS bills and the manager of that place can tell him that, so they didn't run the tests for the chip, and they lied about it costing me money!!!!! Please help guys I am sick of this car. what should i do.. SORRY abut the long story just need people to know the details..

shit... i would like to order an airstrike on them actually and i still think that's not overkill. you need to fight and get your money back. they are ridiculous

try asking them to show proof of running the test for the chip. Normally when you pick up the car they have a printout of what the complaint was and what they did to fix it. This is the slip that you have to sign before you pick up the car. Take a look at that. If its not on there then you have proof that they didnt do the test.

I can't believe you are still so calm. Reading your story got my blood going. That's incredibly shady. It's almost hard to believe, but there have been similar stealership stories.

If you had all these problems, why didn't you find a different dealer??
I don't know why some people keep bringing the car to the same place over and over when they can't seem to solve the problem properly in the first place.

Honestly, consult a lawyer. If you can't get anywhere with that, call the BBB and AOA.

Thanks all for your responses i have tried everything they to see some test results and every time i ask about it they just blow it off... KEYES audi is who i am dealing with on Van Nuyes (for those in socal).. I've heard everyone is warned at the dealearship when i come in my technician told me. I want to Lemon the car, all i want to do is get rid of it.. i love Audi and know they have potential when they aren't breaking 24/7, i just wish i could have had some fun with it.

I know you are super mad and frustrated, but lets stop the bleeding there.
don't do anything stupid that will hurt you or shoot yourself in the foot.

your car is a lemon. you need to sell it, get a another car which will make you feel a lot better.
first, you just want all your headaches to be over with, so sell your car will help big time. then you can go to the court and try to get money back. there are laws that protect you so you need to use them.

second, you need to get a more reliable car. that's up to you. I personally suggest b6 S4.
i know the economy is very tough right now but you have to do what you have to do. you may lose more money on this deal but you will feel a lot better when you are looking at a different car. do not let your bills make you even more stressed./

1. Sell your car, It's a Lemon. I don't care how bad of a rap Audi's get reliability wise, your car is far more problematic than most. I've had an A6 and A4 and between the two...can only count 2 problems (knocks on wood)...both warranty related and inexpensive fixes.

2. Stop going to that dealer. You will never get fair treatment there anymore.

I would hate to be the person that buy's the car from you without knowing the problems you have had. just take them to Court if you can afford it. have all your documention to show how many times you have taken the car in.

Yes i have paid for the new engine.. and i know the car is a lemon i sucks cuz i really got this thing lookin sexy on the outside... :) I will always stick with audi because their cars are beautiful... but i need Quattro.. so i was thinking 2008 b7 2.0tQ titanium package.

Nowhere on the sheet does it say anything about testing the car for a chip. I am going to call a lemon law office tomorrow.. anyone know of anyone good in the LA area?

All of my service records that I have (so far, just a few) from the stealership state what I said was the problem and how it was remedied. If its not on there then i'd bet that they didnt do it. Im pretty sure thats how it works. Hope things work out for you.

Bring them to court, get your damn money back, and lemon the car. I actually feel really sorry for your troubles I would have f***in shot myself lol, but really dont let it misrepresent the audi name. Maybe go with a B7 A4.

just go get a S4, it's not that much more than a 2.0T titanium.
you want a non-turbo car for a while.

My car is also cvt which sucks sooooooooo.. slow.. Maverick i love turbos i know that V8 would be a killer to well i have a few weeks to decide.. i think a4 is more my car im going to big turbo it in the end anyways with one of the VF engineering Garrett ones.

hey everyone so i called the lemon law offices and they told me i have to many miles on the car and they cant do anything about it.. i have just about 60,000 i bought it with 34,000-44,000.. anyone else? i need this car gone!!!!!!!!! the AC has been broken for a month and im not payin to get that BS fixed cuz itll just go bad again.... please HELP

Sell it. You have a bunch of issues with it, but you've got a new engine. That should help.

He wouldnt help because he would lose his job prolly.. and i cant even sue them.. i think the BBB is my next step.. i havent fully paid the car off so i cant sell it...
