I was looking into running some yellow stuff pads as well. However when I was looking them up online it looks like they don't come with a wear sensor. Is anyone running these or know if you would have the wear sensor light permanently on if you run a pad without the sensor?

They are the stock ones. Still pretty new I got the car not long ago. So does EBC make good pads? Will consider when I need to change them.

ya, masking is wayyy easier than removing everything. The calipers came out very very nice, what sucks is over time they start to fade and come off =\

on a side note erocko: dont go with yellow, unless you are going to do some heavy tracking, etc...go with red stuff, thats what I have and love mine

Did your red stuff pads come with wear sensors? If not, do you get the light on your display? If they came with sensors, where did you buy them?

It took me a whole weekend to do the job. But 80% of the time was waiting for the paint to dry up for multiple layers. Also awful time on learning curve. This is my first time ever to take the wheels off...

As doctor said, I was trying to save time. If i took the calipers out, I need to estimate the extra time by 4X... and I never did that before.

However, after my back got so much pain after sitting very low for hours and breathing in the too much harmful paint, taking them off might be a good decision tho. If I have done that before, I would have gone for it. But I was being lazy...

To suggest other folks, if you want to do a decent job, taking them off should be the way to do it. Easier to paint, and better results.

Yes they are stickers designed for brake calipers. It claims to be "High temperature" brake caliper decals: http://www.xenonmods.com/newallcaliperdecals.htm

I have to put an extra layer of clear coat on the top since I do feel it will peel off if I just stick them on.

I used Dupli-Color Engine Enamel-Clear as the coat: http://www.duplicolor.com/products/engine.html

I bought G2 blue but ended up with using dupli-color caliper paint - red. I do feel the color should be little bit brighter tho. I like the brembo brakes, sharp and bright red looks awesome.

just need to get round to painting my calipers now.
