Re: I searched: Where do I find the paint code for my B7

sorry to bump an old thread but I can't find my color code, it's not in the trunk under the spare or in my first page of the booklet, I have no codes there, I think I have Akoya Silver Metallic (LY7H/2S) or Lake Silver Metallic (LY7W/5B). Reason is I was thinking of getting a trunk lip spoiler.

It should be on a little sticker in the wheel well where the spare is...also if you have the window sticker it should be there...ps to Paul Miller my mom just picked up her A4 convertible

Isn't there a way to get the paint code or color using the VIN? If you call a dealer and give them the VIN, they can/should tell you - if nothing else, tell them you need it for some touch up paint.

easy.. just go on ebay.com and look for one of those like spoilers or just anything for our cars. usually when you choose the certain color you want the item in they also write the paint code for it.
