Hey guys, thanks for looking...

My names Jake, alot of you guys may already know me on here. I'm currently able to do anything automotive at the moment, due to being laid off last week. I worked at a high end european shop for several years, with the core work being Audi/VW, BMW, Mercedes and Porsche, with a hearty helping of $100k+ exotics on the side. I'll do most work for $50 per hour, which is about half of what the going shop rates are these days. I also can source parts, OEM or aftermarket (I am an affiliate for 034 and have lines for MANY others). To give you an example of what range of services I offer, take a look at the last few side jobs I've done or am doing: Coilovers on a MK3 Jetta; fabricating a downpipe, hot side intercooler pipe, turbo inlet and cat back for a big turbo B5 A4; timing belt on a MK4 GTI 1.8T; Rods on a 20th Anniversary GTI; subframe, control arm, oil pan, ball joints on a MK4 Golf; ect...

Well I only do unproper jobs on 3.0's

It's dependent on when, where and what else you want to do while I'm in there

There is a special tool needed for that and only few can brag that they spent money on it (I personally never seen one). I just need TB, water pump and associated service. As for when and where, no clue, once I get killer deal or have too much time on my hands.

I have done several without the cam lock tool, although my old shop had one, we didn't always use it... It's really not needed...

550 if I can get it in there without dropping the pan, if I can't, we'll see... Thats labor only, not sure how much those seals are, but on the 2.7T I have on the engine stand, it looks like an expensive piece...

That is a very good choice! I ran straight pipes (from the turbo-back). I am sure Jake could definitely handle that.

Yea that would be well under an hours drive from the Sub Base for you

Would you want me to eliminate the mufflers/resonators or build a complete catback?

pretty much elimiate mufflers and resinators perhaps a true dual custom catback with just the final real muffler that would be great
