going to be making a transition into a b7 thursday

had a few questions about the b7.. is there anything i should know?? im getting it for a decent deal from barrier audi in washington.. its a 2005.5 with 34k miles certified preowned one owner clean car fax all listed for about 22.9 hopefully i can walk out closer to 20.5 or 21k.

its a auto with tiptronic.. (im coming from a b6 and its what i have now)
but is there anythign i should look for like known problems.. is thre any different between a tip chip for a b6 as opposed to a b7??

any insight would be helpful to help me move to this side of the forum!!

Does it have 'S-Line' body pkg....or was it available for that year?

DONT DO IT! ITS A TRAP! hahaha just kidding. What do you mean by "anything i should know?" There is a page on known 2.0t problems just search. If your car is CPO then you have warranty coverage. What packages does your car have? My advice, buy an S-Line with as many options as you can afford (bluetooth and xenons come to mind).

well.. i wouldn't go for such an early b7, u know?. just like if i wanted a b6 i wouldnt go for the early years. 02, 03, problematic.. then by 04 they fixed everything, u get me? i went and got a 04.5 b6 for that reason, id go for a later year..

I picked up a 2005.5 2.0T/6m (40,000+ miles) for $20k out the door this summer, so you should be able to at least do that if not a lower price. There are so many 2.0T/Tip A4s out there that you can use that as your bargaining point.

That said, the 2005.5 has been flawless for the past 10,000 miles I put on it since July. I would recommend you take a look UNDERNEATH the car for obvious body/frame repairs or suspension issues. Also, obviously look at the service records. Good luck!

My car is. Crazy deal compared to that. Look at my for sale link in the classifieds. 2006 a4 2.0t quattro tip with black roof black window trim 35% tints clear corner mod oem sport suspension 17" wheels etc. Look up auditude2.0t in the classifieds I would link u but I'm typing this from my Iphone
