i got the led whites and i gotta say at night time they look MUCH better. But thats just my opinion. Im sure some people to like the amber color look.

spray paint them. you can use clear orange from a hobby store. Tamiya makes the spray, just buy one can and spray the inside of the lens because it will fade. I did this with my scion xb, ha jdm!

You would be better off removing the amber from your headlights, then they would match the clear side markers.

Because he wrote he plans on keeping the U.S. spec headlights with amber corners. Maybe he doesn't know that a lot of the clear headlight corners he's seen are just modified U.S. headlights. It's probably an easier DIY than painting the side markers that might end up not even matching. Plus, it looks 1000 times better with the clear corner mod in my opinion.

hey , how do you take off the side marker lense? do i just pop it off? i want to change the bulb in there so its NOT orange. do they make a bulb that doesnt flash orange?? did the clear corners mod and changed that bulb,( but not a very good one, not orange thou) . so im looking for the side marker bulb by the doors ?/

They just pop out. Put some tape underneath and wedge it out so you don't scratch the paint. Don't know about the bulbs, but if they flash anything other than orange, they're probably illegal in most states.

they pop off, as do the bulbs. but be careful, the tabs are very brittle, especially in cold. i took mine out and had to epoxy them back on. i didnt want them ot be amber when not lit, so i just took the paint off the bulbs.

yes i know i can take the amber outta my headlights but i personally think it doesnt look good with 3 holes in the light and woud rather have the amber there.

Eh, personal preference I guess..I can live with the three tabs. I don't like the older pre-face lift A4's with the amber side markers. To each his own.
