Was wondering if anyone knew where I could get dump valves for my exhaust and wanted to know if anyone else have these installed?

    Re: Exhaust dump valves

I'm running them on my car. Best decision I ever made - only drawback is the loss of a bit of ground clearance.

Happy to answer any specific questions

Ok, there's a big price difference between these two and I don't see the difference at all besides the price. Is one better than the other?

Hotsauce - I remember yours and they did hang low but your car also sat way lower than mine does so I don't think I'll have a problem with clearance. Who made yours anyways? Also any update on when your dad can ship the main engine cover to me?

the mccord one is just the plate. it does not come with the cutout y piece. that is your price difference. Ive been researching them for a while too cause i am gonna get them on my stock exhaust right after my completely gutted piggies so i can go from stg. 1+ to 2+ with the flip of the switch

Ok, the way I see, Mccord's dual plate is $239 for 2 and if you purchase the QTEC Y cutout pipes at $45 each, you would still have a better price than purchasing the whole package for less than $394, QTEC price...correct me if I'm wrong..

    $239.00 (Mccord Plate) + $45 x 2 = $90 (QTEC Y CUTOUTS) total = $329.00 right? Saving you $65.00

Unless these designs are different, which it doesn't look like it is

    Re: Exhaust dump valves

yes, that's correct. Also with the mccord, you get the more subtle switch, just incase you dont want your interior to look like a cockpit.

personally i wanna find a red one of these so i cant say " and whatever you do, DONT TOUCH THE RED SWITCH!!!!" when ppl sit in my car. hahahaha
