    Odd steering issue

Ok so Saturday I removed ther VMaxx Coils from my car and installled Club Spec/Koni combo which feels GREAT, EXCEPT for the fact that I haver a odd issue when on a long right corner.

Imagine your entering a long right curve and you turn and HOLD the steering wheel at 25 degrees. Somewhere along the curve the car seems to straighten up the wheels and then a second later they are in the position relevant to the steering wheel, all without any input from me. Now this has happened on different curves, all right though. The very first time it happened I thought maybe I was beginning to understeer so I turned the wheel some more to hold my line but when the car adjusted itself I found that I was now way off the line and had to straighten out the wheel a bit.

Now I completely understand that this is some crazy shit, but trust me, its not just the tires slipping or the car loosing grip. Actually if I dig harder into the curve and put more load onto the suspension, I dont feel the "adjustment." It only seems to happen when there isnt as much of a load.

I pulled the wheels off and there werent any loose bolts but I did noticed when i was turning the wheels left to right to see if I heard any noises I saw a boot leaking, which I have rigged up for now (pic below) I dont believe the wetness you see in the pic on the liner is from the boot, we needed to use some penetrating spray to get the pinch bolt out.

All suggestions are welcome. I have a feeling I may need to just redo the front end but wont be able to do that until the weekend.

    Re: Odd steering issue

Ok, so I dont believe this has anything to do with the suspension. My previous setup was so sloppy that what Im exeriencing now was being blamed on it. When i removed the old setup, the left rear shock was in 2 pieces. The upper "eye" had unscrewed itself from the rest of the shock and was causing issues.

Moving on, So now on my way to work this morning I noticed that there are times where even small adjustments to the steering dont seem to be registered to the wheels. Its almost as if there is no feeling and its completely loose, when others you feel it working.

Is it possible that something the power steering system is flaking out?
