    Getting these damn calipers off!!

Ok I'm hoping to change my own passenger front wheel bearing(remove UR and bring to a shop). That bolt where the center cap on you wheel goes was easy, but I can't see how to take off the caliper. Here is what I see...

Nothing from the front everything is in the back(makes it a bit harder)

Two allen head/hex bolts that seem to hold the caliper together, but the top one is blocked by I'm guessing the bleeder valve connection point(i guess thats out).

Two regular shaped head bolts that I believe are 19mm that seem to be to the bracket that hold the caliper on the the up right. I'm trying to get these off, but HOLY Sh!t are they on their TIGHT! I did a search and people said they were tight and they attempted to use a breaker bar. What I can't see is where do they get the room to even try and use a breaker bar unless of course it's on a lift. I know people have taken these calipers and rotors off with ease, but how? Yes I'm new to wrenching on the S.

Does anyone know of a DIY for taking off rotors and calipers on a B5 S4. All the wheel bearing DIY I've see start off with the calipers and rotors off already. I will not accept that I can't get past this part so someone point me in the right direction please.

Yeah i tried myself on one side to clean my calipers up a bit, and I couldnt break them out either.

I had to give up. Used the biggest socket wrench I had and nothing.

Brake service looks mush worse than it is on the HP2 caliper. Release the spring on the outside holding the pads in place and pull the pads out. Do not dissassemble the caliper on the car. Simply remove the 13mm bolt holding the metal brake line on the caliper so you can access the 2 21mm bolts holding the carrier and calliper to the upright. Remove the top 21mm bolt and simply loosen the bottom one. Now re-install the 13mm bolt holding the metal brake line finger tight (so that when you swing the caliper out of the way the brake line doesnt distort). Swing the caliper back and remove your rotor.

i just take the bleeder out and break the allen bolts out and then put the bleeder back in when the bolt is out.

i had to use a breaker bar as well to get that bitchy bolt out. i got it out after about 5 minutes of constant pulling and was suprised i didnt strip it. wait until you have to take off the drivers side like i did. you'll have even more fun.

to get the two 18/ mim caliper bolts off I used my air impact gun and they came out, but befor I used the impact gun I sprayed them with P blaster to mak ethem comen out a lil nicer. als helps to turn the wheel to get a lil more room to work, it is a crappy angle in all but take your time an dit will all work out
