Anybody used any of these? Around seattle the highway (I5) and all the cars does a number on pain. I was thinking about the painted lower front (this looks like usp) and the hood piece.

I wish chicks had these things.

    Re: invisible bra's

    easy

use some clean water mixed with soap and then slowly spread out the clear bra on your hood.
use warm water, you can stretch the bra that way.

My friends father got it done from the dealer on his 612 scaglietti. It's the exact same color as the front of the car and you can't tell that there's anything on it until you run your fingernail down the front to find the film.

yeah I'm sure its expensive as hell. But hell, on a 300k dollar car who cares? And with the 30k dollar Sports trim or something option he got, that give him a louder exhaust, stiffer suspension, bigger wheels, etc... I'm jealous

    Re: invisible bra's

I have the 3M on mine, custom cut to my bumper, it was $650, possibly one of the best investments I made on the car.

$650 a good investment? How so? I'd rather not worry about it and fix the chips for a fraction of the price if I was to sell it. Tcha!

    Re: invisible bra's

Thanks maverick. I think Ill give the Ebay version a shot. I already have some chips so Im not sure I want to buy the 3M stuff right now. If I just had my bumper repainted it might be a different story. How hard was the install? Probably pretty similar to lamin-x I suppose?

The only way to make your bumper look new, is most likely by repainting the whole bumper. Which may or may not cost the same amount, but by repainting the front bumper, majority of the time, your color is mismatched, not to mention the paint is no where near as strong as OEM paint, and will chip much much faster. It has paid for itself already. And don't forget, my kits is basically half the hood, front bumper, lower, fenders, mirror caps, front roof, headlights, foglights....and I'm damn sure my headlights would be sand blasted by now with all the driving i've done on the freeway. It's just a investment I find worthwhile, maybe not to you, but the $650 dollar price tag is worth it when you want to keep your car looking new.

Vinny is right on the money. I have Lamin-x on my nose and it's more than paid for itself for the beating it has taken. I actually replaced mine (under warranty) before H20i as it had started to yellow...the paint underneath looked like new. It made me realize the unprotected paint was actually starting to yellow and oxidize!

Highly recommended - I will never buy another car without installing this product.

    Re: invisible bra's

I just had my 3M clear-bra installed last week. Some instal flaws which I am not happy about on the front bumper/hood piece. I had my hood/front bumper/ front fender flares/ mirrors done. But the paint is protected thank god, no it's time to get some money back.
