anyone have ignition switch problems, if so what were the symptoms? more...

Currently my car won't start and i tried bypassing the clutch switch and that didn't help. Also i inspected and cleaned the starter connectors.

I'm thinking it's either the ignition switch or maybe something with the alarm system not letting the car start.

    No codes

Car does not crank, or click

Instrument cluster comes on as normal and does not dim when i turn to start (usually the dimming indicates power is going to the starter???)

Have push started and runs fine.

    Any other ideas???

Sounds like your starter solenoid. Your starter works by extending a gear that turns your flywheel to start your car. Sometimes parts inside your starter can stick. Sometimes, giving it a few hard whacks with a rubber mallet can free it up, temporarily at least. If this doesn't work, think about replacing your starter.
