Hey, some friends and me flushed the coolant on my 96 A4 V6, cause the coolant was full of water and junk (used, had the car about 6 months, never checked the coolant)
So we flushed it out with water, etc, and as we were doing this, in the quadrant in the middle with low gas, low oil, etc, the Temperature warning one was flashing, but it would go off though.
We figured it was air bubbles, etc, which there were tons, we got about 3-4 buckets worth of yellowish-muck before we started getting clear water then we put in the actual coolant.
But, after we took it for a drive, the temperature warning would come on, and start flashing non stop, and now it will not go off.
Any ideas?
The engine doesn't appear to be overheating though, the temperature gauge stays in the middle at 90c which is normal, because that's where it's always been.
