applying einszett glanz with an PC?

so I'm reading the instructions on the DD site:

    1. Work in a shaded area out of direct sunlight.
    2. Work on one area at a time covering two to four square feet.
    3. Use an Uber microfiber applicator pad.
    4. Pour a small amount of Glanz Wax on your applicator and wipe it on the surface of your car. Since it applies in liquid form, a small amount will cover a very large area. So be cautious and don't pour too much.
    5. Treat one section of your car at a time. Do not allow Glanz Wax to dry for more than a minute or so. After 30-60 seconds of hazing, Glanz Wax will transform from its liquid form into a solid wax. When this happens, use a clean Uber Microfiber Towel to buff to a brilliant shine. Turn your towel frequently.
    6. If Glanz Wax gets on your black plastic trim, do not worry. Glanz Wax will not leave a white residue or chalky remains.
    7. Continue the process until your entire car is completed. After waxing with Glanz, your car's paint should feel slick and smooth, and be free of streaks and smudges. What do you do if, after all this work, you still have streaks and areas that don't want to buff out perfectly? Park your car in the sun for 10-15 minutes. Let it get warm, but not hot. Next, take it back inside the garage and buff with a slightly damp (dampen with water and wring tightly) Uber Microfiber Towel. The warmth of the car softens the wax, allowing it to buff out to a clear, high gloss.
how would this different wit ha PC?

Glanz goes on and can be removed so easily by hand, you don't need to use a PC (I just "glanz'd" 2 cars this past weekend, all by hand - very easy stuff to work with by hand and my arms did not fall off). Just follow the guide above and you'll be fine - no need for PC.

    '07 A4 Avant 2.0TQ S-line & Ti, I-white/black (unicorn?) - w/ APR goodness, old DD, now beach-mobile
    '93 BMW 850ci, FE Red/Black - major garage queen

if you do want to use a pc it's really simple.

put a qtr size on a black/blue/ or red pad then put the pad on the car and turn the machine up to 3.

go over the whole car adding glanz when its no longer spreading...then remove with a clean mf towel.

remember a little goes a long way.

    WOW,

1/4 oz will do a whole car. I have used less than two quarts on 350+cars.

Re: applying einszett glanz with an PC?

On my '01 Avant, I break the car into 10-12 "sections" for waxing - I use 1 nickel to quarter-sized bead of glanz on each section. So, it doesn't take much to glanz the whole car (and I'm probably using a bit too much as it is). A little goes a long way here....
