my radio been in safe mode for days now....is the "safe" suppose to clear before you can try again? like shut off?.....what happend was i tried the code but i messd up, i know it says wait one hour...but its been saying "safe" and its way over an hour of continuous running.

you have to keep the key in the "on" position while you wait. have you tried holding the pscan and scan buttons i think they are? so the #s display and you can enter the code.

what if the car is runnig for an hour?? like engine...does that count also?

nvm i got it....it says the display should go away, but it doesnt...jus tried it and it works....thanks man, appreciate it.
