gas tank question

just curious whats the most you've been able to put in your tank while on E...trying to judge how much unusable fuel is in the tank, also say if your quattro or not..from my book...quattro cars have an 18 gallon tank...and non's have 16

FWD has a bigger tank than quattro. Not having that differential and driveshaft make the difference.

yea... and quattro is 17.5 i believe. seems that if i drive the hell out of the car on E there's abou 2 gallons still in there because i never get to put more than 15 and some change when i got to full up..

huh...my manual says 18.6 gallons for the quattro and then 16.5 ..unless they are saying the quattro before the 16.5 and not after the 18.6, if that makes any sense...either way, nothing that says anything about a 17 gallon tank...can anyone with an 04 confirm this?

my manual says the quattro comes with a 16.6 gal tank on one page and 17.4 gal tank on another page...which is right?

well i have an 04 and im pretty sure it says 17.5. are 3.0s different from 1.8s?
