Will a Forge FMDVR Race Diverter Valve work for my 1.8T?

So I know a guy who is parting out his 99 1.8T and was running this DV, I would really like to run it because its a nice race DV and its cheap for me but it does not have the small nipple on the top part like most of the newer DVs, is this a problem for our cars? is this a good DV for our cars? Is the nipple on top and I just can't see it in these pics?

there better be a nipple there, you gotta hook the vaccum line to something so it knows when you let off the throttle... i dont see why it wouldnt work..
