Here's some that I was able to touch up real quick. I have to apologize to some of you, my camera's settings were all jacked up when I first got there, so some of the pictures that I took earlier in the day came out very blurry. I probably won't be posting them.































It was really nice meeting everyone. Thanks for the warm welcome, and thanks to John (Slow4) for arranging my pickup in the morning on 66. I hope to see you all again soon.

How funny you ask, Clint had this different way of doing that took 10mins to get the suspension off without the pinch bolt

I'll post up the pics that I and John took when I get the chance. Right now, my fingers are all swollen.

Yesterday was the DP and Exhaust install from hell! 19 f**kin hours of blood, sweat, rage and possible tears were the end result of my experience, which has possibly forever scarred me from doing ANYMORE DIYs. To whomever said a DP install is simple and easy, you can go suck my nuts and kiss my @$$!

Vern - You are the man for helping me out! I really don't know what to say.
John - I totally appreciate your help...even if it took 19 f**kin hours!
Alex - Thanks for the garage. Thanks for help. Thanks for letting me stay in that garage till 4am. Thanks in general!
Aaron - Thanks bud for giving me a helping hand.

As of right now, I feel that I should retire from the DIY scene on my S4. Last night/this morning has scar-ed me to do any further mods to my car.

Nice to meet everyone, had a great time. Kinda like a day at work, but fun.

Vern- 4am, wow. Wish I could have stayed and helped but wifey was pretty antsy for me to get home. I'm in now hurry to get the hammer back, it was $7 at a swap meet years ago!! Did the install at least turn out well? It would suck if all that work was for not.

Can't wait to do it again sometime......if only my driveway was bigger.....

downloading the pics off my rebel XT as we speak. I haven't been able to adjust to the camera because of my new contacts so pictures may be crappy. John (Grishbok) took some good pics too with my Rebel.

Pinch bolt NEVER came off. I believe Vern worked around it.

Driver side stock DP WOULDN'T come out. Driver side TT DP wouldn't go back in. Heat shields were a b*tch to navigate. Lost numerous bolts somewhere in the engine bay. Lost a few of my sockets somewhere in the engine bay. Had to cut my rear 02 sensors (both of them) because one wouldn't come off and the other wouldn't reach. Exhaust was installed wrong at least 4 TIMES! Exhaust wouldn't stay up correctly. Turbo to DP flanges are a b*tch to screw in, let alone tighten fully. I think they're tightened fully....

All in all, it was just a nightmare. NO MORE hardcore installs for me! Suspension will be done by a "professional"!...if I even decide to go that route.

DIY's are great, but sometimes it's just worth it to have someone do the work for you.

my hands are swollen and muscles hurting after that 19 hour run. Wouldnt trade the experience though!

Ive never encountered a system that was that difficult to do on jacks, i think that drivers side DP would be infinitely easier with a lift that can get a sharper angle.

problems are better overcome at a diy gathering than doing an install on your own. were the down pipes and exhaust finally installed or did the oem stuff have to go back on? i noticed john's sig was updated.

Yeah but stage gauge you current performance upgrades and suspension isn't one of them, however intercooler maybe, the stages are kinda explained on the APR website.
