Tint recommendations

Looking to get some ceramic tint done. Preferably a place that uses Formula 1 film. I got quoted $400 from T&T yesterday. Anybody else have experience with shops that do good work?

Theres a tint place right outside of schofield off of wilikina drive by kemoo farm right after subway going towards north shore, i got my tints done there...if youre military he gives you a discount, i got mines done for $160, but i dont know how much it is without the discount, shouldnt be too much more...heres the number...call and ask for a quote... I've had two cars done there and its been good but very expensive. Can you recommend another place?

First Class Tint on Keeaumoku did a nice job on my Passat 2 years ago. Still good. I was referred there by a couple of air-cooled van guys who were also happy - one guy's tint was 5 years old and still all good. I don't know if they do ceramic.

Not sure of any other place that uses Formula One.

I know a guy in ewa beach that is pretty good. He uses llumar and he'll probably beat any shops price.

I took mine to First Class tint as well. I got the TruGray tint (no dye in it). They cracked my windshield but were honest enough to replace it, no questions asked. Had it done about a year and a half ago and it still looks brand new.

I went to Smitty's Tint, on Cliff's recommendation. Great price, cool guy, and definitely a VAG guy. The Jetta that he built was at his house. Awesome car, especially the sound system. I was gonna order some parts through him, but I need a real job first.

Good prices but for some reason, I feel like anybody who pimps Audiobahn gear = instant FAIL!
