help with test pipe install

i tried doing the TP install as shown in the neuspeed exhaust install on audimods but im having some trouble getting the heat shield off. does anyone know what size and type the screw is which is holding it in? or is there anyway around the heat shield? any help is appreciated

the heat sheild meaning the cat? i dont know why you need to remove a heat shield to install the testpipe. if you have the right length extensions and flex sockets it should be telatively easy to get to the bolts. granted that they arent rusted to crap. i had to take my cat off with my downpipe and cut the rusted bolts off.

what i meant to say is the cv boot heat shield that gets in the way of the 3 bolts on the underneath side of the car...you are saying its possible to get them out without taking that cv boot shield off?
