Dash looked like a christmas tree

So i start my car last night after being out and the ABS light and traction control light are on, and the Brake light is blinking. So i drive a few hundred feet and decide to stop and shut the car off to see if any get reset, and everything goes off except the TC light. So i shut it off again and restart, now all is well. WTH?

Re: Dash looked like a christmas tree

A lot of things are possible from that situation. If there was a serious fault, it would have stored a code and left the light on.

If it doesn't happen again, I honestly wouldn't worry about it.

The possibilities are huge, and if you start guessing at what the fault is, you'll be broke faster than me with an insurance check.

Every German car ive owned has had some crazy electrical demons that live in it, my old jetta would tell me the e break was on or that my door was open (usually on the freeway), i think there just looking for attention, perhaps you should do some weekend moding
