Thumbs up Stage 3 with REVO,

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
Is this any good? I'm installing K04's in the next couple of weeks together with an improved torque Converter, 60lb Siemens, ASP 85maf, ect...

I now need a tune to go with this and it need to be a custom tune since I'm not using any special fuel kit. Vast is very high on the list, but they are not local and i'm not sure if they want to take on this projekt right now.

Another choise is the Revo tune, it would be from Eurocode whitch is local to me but would like to hear some review before I let them tune my car...

So what is your experience with Revo or/and Eurocode?

    Re: Stage 3 with REVO,

I ran Revo on stock fueling with a 5 bar FPR for 9 months and dynoed it at 300whp on a modest tune 17 psi..ran strong no issues. But I had a MBC set to 17 to taper boost spikes...

    Re: Stage 3 with REVO,

I'm getting ready to go with a KO4 set up with eurocode as well, (6-spd though). My understanding is that Revo has revised its stage III tune recently.

Does anyone have more info on this or can verify the supposed revision?

Agreed why would you go with REVO when you can go w GIAC or VAST....

    Re: Stage 3 with REVO,

The reason I'm considering the Revo Stg III is because I currently have revo for my Stg II set up, and so it would be cheaper to upgrade the current software rather then going with a entirely new company/brand.

I'm not aware of Revo's history, but it seems that people may had bad experience with them. Personally, I've ran it for the past 2-years with no problems. I am concern though; what are some of the issues that people have had with Revo???

I'm going to just throw this out there.....I haven't had any personal experiences w/ REVO......but not many places are a "dealer" for them, and they are not well known, people like to have GIAC or APR dealers close to them incase a problem occurs, many in midwest go w/ VAST for location, WMS in Cali, ect. I'm aware of only a single handfull of Well KNOWN shops that carry REVO flashes.....and APR and GIAC have proven themselves to be reliable, good tunes w/ great customer service.

So go w/ something that works and is proven.....not saying REVO doesn't add torque/HP, but the #'s for it are conservative compared to say GIAC or a high-boost custom tune....if REVO is the only thing local to you, than I would do that, but if you have choices from either GIAC or a custom tune, I would personally go that route.

And on another note, I don't think I know a single person on the forums that is running REVO stage 3 software, its almost as rare as someone running Dahlback or MTM stage 3 (or 4 or 5) software
