When i lower my front driver side window it starts to make like a grinding noise. It only does is it half way down, then it works ok. Same thing when i go back up. Only the top half seems to make a noise. Any ideas...Thanks

I would take it to a mechanic, they are a PITA to switch out. Be careful that you don't use the window if you don't plan on replacing it right way. It will go down but refuse to come back up.

    Re: Window Grind

^ not a PITA at all, did mine entirely in less than 2 hours.

much better off taking it apart with the help of a DIY and learn something.

    Re: Window Grind

my rear driver window was making a grinding noise, but it turned out to be the wire on the pulley that elevates and lowers the window. threw some grease along the wire and it went away.

    Regulator from genuineaudiparts.com

Easy to replace. There is a very good write up on how to do this somewhere.

Easy DIY for people that have the tools and time. If you feel confident go for it. Also when you order, get some door clips. They tend to break, its like they are 1 time use or somehting. Search for the DIY if not pm and I'll send you the link.
